The Burton US Open Snowboarding Championships will be coming to Vail soon! They are building huge 20+ foot jumps these guys huck off of. Very impressive…..This is a great opportunity to watch some amazing snowboarding. On top of that, there’s free concerts, food and activities to check out. I really enjoy this event every year. You can watch from the base of the halfpipe, halfpipe walls or the live feeds. The live feeds are available at Solaris Plaza, Garfinkel’s, Pazzo’s and The Fitz. Dress for the cold! We are in Vail!
As you may know there’s the halfpipe, slopestyle and entertainment riders. This will be spread over a 6-day event.

What’s amazing about this event is it’s FREE. Lift tickets are required and tickets for the closing party. Burton will have first come first serve tickets for that though. This will be in two Burton Stores here in Vail.
