February Community Insider Vail Valley
Winter trekking in the mountains. Snowshoes stand in the snow.

I hope everyone had a great New Year! As we go into this year I hope we continue to see restrictions lifting, and we can go back to “normal” life after this pandemic we have been in for almost a year now. The housing market is still hot, and houses are selling quickly. Some great local events are happening in our area this month. I hope you check out some of them that I have highlighted in my February Community Insider Vail Valley.

Nature & History Snowshoe Tour

If you enjoyed last month’s snowshoe tour I mentioned then you will want to check out this other trail to explore in Vail. Grab your snowshoes and head out on a garden trail with a naturalist from Betty Ford Alpine Gardens. As you make your way through these trails you will learn about the history of Vail’s early settlers. Don’t forget to stop by the Visitor’s Center when you are done and enjoy their permanent and rotating exhibits. They do require you to sign up in advance to secure your spot!
