I hope my clients had a wonderful Easter and a great start to spring! Are you looking for fun activities to do with your family during spring break? There are still restrictions in our local area due to COVID but things are continuing to open up more. There is always outdoor dining at our local restaurants, skiing on the slopes, or even just a picnic at your favorite park. I hope you all get out and stay active in our community! Here is my Vail community insider for April 2021!

Skiing Season Extended

The 2020/2021 ski season has been extended by 1 week at Vail (to April 18) and Beaver Creek (to April 11). Have you been having a great winter this year on the slopes and aren’t quite ready for it to be over? Well, great news for you! There is still a chance for you to get your gear and go have some great memories with your family! I know we have had a great skiing season this winter in Vail! 

Picnic Spots In Vail

With the skiing season being extended, take this opportunity to check out some of these great spots in Vail! Why not pack up a great lunch, take a hike and then have lunch with a view! Bring your favorite wraps sandwiches, snacks and beverages. With warmer weather, this is a great opportunity to get some much-needed fresh air! Here are some great spots in Vail you should try!

  • Jebby’s Deck – Skier’s right of Avanti, above the racecourse, easily spotted from Avanti Express (No. 2)
  • Hawk’s Nest Deck – at the top of Northwoods Express (No. 11) and High Noon Express (No. 5)
  • Windows Deck – Overlooks Sun Down Bowl, off of Windows Road trail
  • Steady’s Deck – Skier’s right of Eagle’s Nest Ridge trail and above Lodgepole trail
  • Belle’s Camp – Top of Skyline Express (No. 37) and Earl’s Express (No. 29)

Wanting to try your hand at something new?  Go and try out Wood & Steel Axe Company!  They have three ways for you to enjoy ax throwing with them!
