It’s that time of year again! Everyone is starting to get festive, the ski season has started and it’s beginning to feel like the holiday season. With that also comes the return of Vail Snow Days! The event was formerly known as Snow Daze. This an amazing 4-day festival with free concerts and tons of other events and family-friendly activities taking place at Vail Mountain. The event is from December 12th to 15th and I know lots of people are looking forward to this highly anticipated event!

Free Concerts

Vail Snow Days 2019 is Here!

The highlight of this event is the live music and there are two free concerts for you to enjoy at Ford Park in the evening on Friday, Dec. 13 and Saturday, Dec. 14. On Friday the headliner is Modest Mouse, an indie rock band, with The Rad Trads as opener. The concert on Saturday features The Hand and the Heart as the headliner and Rob Drabkin opening for them. And you don’t need to worry about tickets because the concerts are free! It’s likely to get busy though so check out the full schedule on the Vail Snowdays website here for all the information.

Festival Village and Other Activities

When you check out the full schedule you will see there are tons of other things to do during the days as well. There’s a pub crawl on Thursday and a block party at International Bridge every day after that. The block parties also feature food and drinks from local Colorado businesses. You can also go hang out at Festival Village at Mountain plaza where you can enjoy food, drinks and demos from event partners. Expect demos on ski gear, Oakley gear, GoPro and much more!

Snow Days Live!

Snow Days Live! at Vail Village and Lionshead is another fantastic way of enjoying live music during the four-day event. Take a look at this link with the full schedule! You can visit a wide variety of bars at different times every single day to listen to lots of different artists and music. All of these events are free so I expect it will be busy!
