Vail Valley Home Prices continue to climb – In nearly all categories of real estate and in all areas we are seeing prices rise from last year and before. The dollar volume of properties sold in the 5 focus areas, over the last 12 months, is up 121% from the previous 12-month period.

The biggest challenge we are facing in the world of real estate (in the Vail Valley as well as across the country) is inventory. Currently we have less than 300 residential properties actively listed in the entire Vail Board of Realtor MLS. Buyers are realizing they have to act quickly. Navigating this limited inventory can be challenging but I have gotten offers accepted before buyers have physically seen a property thus taking control of that home until they can get here and take a look personally…..
