Are you considering selling your Vail Valley Home? Are you wondering what steps you should first take to be able to put your home on the market? Doing some research about staging your home can be a great start! Here are some tips on staging your home in summer! I am here for my clients and still want to provide them with helpful tips and information!
How To Stage Your Home During The Summer
Staged homes will most likely sell for more than an empty or unstaged home. My opinion is less is better so I recommend taking out the bulky furniture. This will help give the buyers an idea of what each space can be used for but make it appeal to the masses. You will want to depersonalize the spaces so they can imagine themselves living there. Also, keep the color palette neutral with just one pop of color in accents that are worked in throughout the house. I also feel that you should let the house speak to you about the staging style.
Want an option to have someone virtually help you stage your home? This is a great way to start this process. If decorations or staging isn’t your strong suit don’t worry the internet is always there to help! This can also be very helpful if you are a second homeowner and can’t physically be there to stage your home. You can do a virtual staging of your home to help you get some ideas of how your space should look. Here is a website you can use to help you virtual stage your home! Click here to check it out!
Not Needing To Buy Things For Staging
Some clients are worried about needing to go and buy new items in their homes to have the perfect staged look. This isn’t always the case! I have helped clients in the past to stage their home beautifully for the summertime with all their own furniture and decor.
Sometimes all it takes is a professional to come in and help them see a different vision in the room and space. I want the best for all of my sellers and my goal is always to work with you and help you get the most out of your home! Some fresh flowers for the pictures, or for an open house can make a huge difference. During summer also making your outside space updated and inviting is key! Showing potential buyers that your home has that deck space for a morning cup of coffee while watching the sunrise. Or what about the outside space to entertain guests! Showing these spaces full potential especially during summer can be a very important part of your home.
