With summer officially coming to an end who is ready for fall weather and fall events happening in the Vail Valley Area? I’m really looking forward to the leaves changing because it just makes the mountains so beautiful! Events are still being affected by the pandemic, some are canceled and some have changed. But thankfully, we will still be able to enjoy some amazing fall events happening in the community around us. Vail Valley Oktoberfest Shuffle
Join in Sunday, September 6th @ 9 am to help up kick off the Vail Valley Oktoberfest Shuffle. This event benefits the Vail Valley Charitable Fund. Come enjoy a beer and brat after you have spent the morning running Beaver Creek’s trails. You can run a 5k, 10k, or 1k family race and build up your appetite for the day while supporting the Vail Valley Charitable Fund. The Vail Valley Charitable Fund helps those living in the Vail Valley who are experiencing financial hardship due to a medical crisis. Dynafit Meadowgold 5K and 11K Trail Run
Come join in on the fun Saturday, September 12th @ 10 am for the Dynafit Meadowgold 5K and 11K trail run. Registration for this event is $ 35-45 dollars. This is the seventh and final race in the Vail Recreation District’s La Sportiva Vail Mountain Trail Running Serious. Presented by the Town of Minturn this will be an exciting and mountainous experience. For more information click here.
Wild West Day
Sunday, September 27 @ 8:45 am – 2 pm come join in on the fun of this Wild West Day. This is the 30th Annual Wild West Day at 4 Eagle Ranch in Wolcott. This is a fundraising program that will have games and entertainment for the whole family. The Great Stampede fun run hosted by Kids Adventure Games is something you and the family won’t want to miss out on. It’s the perfect event to have great family time and help raise money for nine public elementary schools in Eagle County to enhance the education of our children through eas school’s PTA/PTO.
