The weather is heating up and Covid restrictions are loosening! This July there are ample opportunities to enjoy the beautiful sunshine and all that the Vail Valley/Cordillera area has to offer. The real estate market is still hot too, so it will be interesting to see how the rest of the summer progresses. Hit the Slopes this Summer!
Vail Ski Resort is not just for winter fun. They offer several exciting family adventures and warm weather activities ranging from zip lines and scenic gondola rides (kids ride free!) to miniature golf, summer tubing, and a raised mountain roller coaster. There are several different packages to choose from or you can purchase tickets a la carte. The resort also offers several discounts for seniors and military families. Bravo! Vail Music Festival
The return of many free community events and concerts throughout the Vail Valley/Cordillera area is a welcome change from last summer. One festival that you may find interesting is the Bravo! Vail Music Festival. This unique, family-friendly, festival offers the opportunity to experience four phenomenal orchestras over the course of the summer season. Running from the end of June through the first week of August the festival will be showcasing The Saint Paul Chamber Orchestra, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, The Philadelphia Orchestra, and New York Philharmonic. It is sure to attract music lovers from around the world! Tickets are on sale now but the box office is operating virtually. Vail History Walking Tours are back
Does the thought of an elite group of military skiers who scale cliffs to fight bad guys sound like an elaborate movie plot? Sometimes the truth is stranger than fiction! Snow Sports Museum has brought back their popular Vail History Walking Tours. For just $5 you can spend an hour learning about the heroic World War ll 10th Mountain Division Ski Troopers and the colorful history of Vail’s bygone era. Regular tours operate every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday at 11am but private tours are also available! You can contact the museum for more information at (970) 476-1876.
