The Vail 10th Mountain Legacy Parade is on March 6, 2020! This parade is to show respect to the Vail Mountain founders and provides lots of history you may not know about Vail.

Everyone is invited to watch skiers that are dressed in traditional Mountain Division Ski Trooper Uniforms here in Vail. These skiers will be doing a Torchlight Ski Down to the Gondola One. After that there will be a military veteran parade in their traditional uniforms that will march to 10th Mountain Statue. You can visit the Colorado Snowsports Museum after the parade to learn more about Vail Valley history. Enjoy a projection of a film on Vail’s history and an illuminated 10th Mountain Division logo. Hot chocolate will be available and there will be photographers on site. Come out and celebrate the legacy of Vail! There’s rich history here and so much to learn!
This event is hosted by The Colorado Snowsports Museum. Donations of $5-10 are suggested for the Tales of the 10th at the museum. This will include an author/historian – Flint Whitlock @ 4 PM.
